I really love learning about music theory and applying it to lots of different instruments (even if I don't know how to play them). I can play some guitar and cello, but I'm trying to learn piano and drums as well. There hasn't been the opportunity to practice much cello, piano, or drums, though, because it's so difficult to get access to equipment at USC. During the first semester I was in a band, but we had to coordinate with so many other groups to get access to the practice rooms that the band eventually fell through. Hopefully, I can find a good black friday deal this year and get a good deal on sweetwater for a secondhand keyboard.
I really love video games and hope to work in the industry one day! I love video games because it's the closest way to escape this reality and enter a new one that any form of art can provide. The central focus around player engagement allows for unbelievable sensations of exploration that can't be replicated by other art forms. I usually play on console, and hold no bias across the three major platforms (Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo), but I hope to build a PC later this year. Also waiting for black friday deals though, because PC parts can get really expensive and my broke college budget can't afford the parts on retail value.
